Finney’s HIT Squad has a scheduled program for new fighters to develop into top-level professionals. Our system is similar to that of Major League Baseball, where young athletes being their careers in a development league and proceed to higher-level competitions when their skills and performance indicate that they are ready.
Our fighters will start their careers in smaller evens, working their way into the professional ranks. We are able to have such a structured system because of the amounts we promotions and the affiliations we’ve established with various MMA companies after having been in the MMA business for over 14 years.
Our fighters start their training with striking, wrestling, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, eventually moving into sparring and grappling tournaments. When they are ready to compete in their first MMA match, they will typically compete on the under card of our St. Louis based MMA promotion, Shamrock Promotions, one of our partners in St. Louis.
As the amateur fighters gains more experience and has his or her hand raised in victory, he or she will be given a profesisnal fight with one of our affiliate shows. Our professional fighters currently compete in in Strikeforce, the UFC, MFC, Shark Fights, FightME MMA, and Bellator.
