The H.I.T. Squad has many different classes available for people of all ages and of any skill level.

BOXING - Our boxing classes are taught by Ryan Davis. In these classes the main focus of our instructor is on boxing techniques. You will experience workouts that involve cardio training while learning the proper ways to throw punches, how to avoid and defend your opponents attack, proper footwork and head movement. Brian Foster also fills in periodically for Coach Davis.

WRESTLING - In our wrestling classes you will experience and learn take downs from Coach Marc Fiore. Coach Fiore has done a great job of taking the vast wrestling knowledge he has gained over the years and adapting it for MMA. You will learn how to work in the clinch, defend your opponents take down attempts, and getting the advantage of obtaining the take down yourself. Jacob Hey and Matt Hughes fill in for Coach Fiore periodically.

BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU - Kyle Watson is our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach. Being a fighter himself he will be able to teach you the submissions, sweeps, and passes that you will need to know for a fight, grappling tournament, or just your own personal self-defense. In the GI classes you will also learn collar chokes and how to use you and your opponents GI to your advantage.

MUAY THAI - Jason Ciluffo teaches our Muay Thai classes. Muay Thai is a striking art in which the 8 points of attack are used. You will learn how to use your hands, elbows, knees and shins to strike. With all of these points to attack, you have the ability to put together multiple combinations. James and Jason Autrey fill in and assist with the Muay Thai.

SPARRING - Twice a week at 5p.m. (Monday and Wednesday) we have our sparring class. Our more advanced fighters gear up to work on what they have learned in the technique classes. The fighters will throw on the head gear, 16 oz. gloves, and shin pads to test their skills against each other. The objective is to try and make sparring as close to a live fight as possible while learning what needs to work on at the same time.
Robbie Lawler, Coach Fiore, and Coach Davis are all part of the class to help the fighters and coach them while training.

MMA GRAPPLING - Twice a week at 5p.m. (Tuesday and Thursday) Matt Hughes teaches and participates in our grappling class with our more advanced guys. Coach Hughes will get everyone warmed up usually with a game of dodge ball. After that he will work some technique. The fighters will then pair off and it becomes more of a live grappling match with the guys looking for submissions or to gain control of their opponent just like they would do in an actual match. Coach Fiore, Robbie Lawler, and Coach Watson also assist and fill in.

MMA CONDITIONING CLASSES - The morning conditioning class Monday through Friday is really what sets the H.I.T. Squad apart from other gyms. All of our coaches, including Matt Hughes and Robbie Lawler, put together extensive cardio training. The training is of a wide variety from plyometrics, weight training circuits, technique, outside tire flips (caveman training), and the list really never ends. Conditioning is a big part of the H.I.T. Squad. We never want our athletes to lose because of poor conditioning, and they won't.

FITNESS CENTER - The H.I.T. Squad also offers a full functioning state of the art fitness center. Our weights and cardio areas are complete with Hammer Strength and Life Fitness equipment. The weight room has free weights, machines, kettle bells, medicine balls, resistant bands, and basically anything you would need to help your achieve your goals. With multiple treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and stair steppers, you should be able to get to where you want to be in your fitness levels. Our staff is always available to assist you in using the equipment and starting a program.
